The Geelong Memorial Park and Crematorium is a public facility administered by Geelong Cemeteries Trust, which is a member of the ACCA (Australasian Cemeteries and Crematoria Association) and CCAV (Cemeteries and Crematoria Association of Victoria) which set the standards for Australian Crematoriums.

Kings Funeral Services only use crematoriums that are members of these associations so our families can be assured that if cremation is chosen their loved one has been cremated in a professional way.

There are a number of memorialisation options for cremated remains. They can be placed in many different locations. Each cemetery usually has a memorial garden or niche wall for this purpose.

Urns or personal jewellery can contain some or all of the ashes. Scattering of cremated remains in places of significance to the deceased person or the family is something that some people want to do.
